At Harrison’s Accountancy, we spend most of our year focused on the finer details of your business finances. Whether it’s navigating the latest MTD updates or ensuring your year-end is as smooth as possible, our relationship with our clients is usually built across a desk or over a Zoom call. But we believe that being a great accountancy firm is about more than just the numbers, it’s about the people and the community that make our local area so vibrant.
That’s why we are absolutely thrilled to invite our team, our wonderful clients, and all of your families to the official Harrison’s Accountancy Summer Social!
This isn't just another networking event; it’s a full-blown celebration of the hard work you’ve put in this year. We want to provide a space where we can all relax, let our hair down, and enjoy a classic British summer afternoon together.

We’ve picked a date that’s perfect for soaking up the August sun and enjoying a long afternoon of fun.

We chose the Biggleswade Rugby & Squash Club for its fantastic outdoor space and its deep roots in our local community. It’s the perfect backdrop for a family-oriented afternoon, with plenty of room for the kids to run around and for the adults to catch up in a relaxed environment.
Fun for the Whole Family (Seriously!)
How often do you get to bring the kids along to an "accountancy event"? At our Summer Social, they are the VIPs.
We know that for many of our clients, family is the reason you work so hard to build your businesses. That’s why we’ve made sure there is plenty to keep the little ones (and the big ones!) entertained throughout the entire afternoon.
The Bouncy Castle & Inflatables
We aren't just talking about a small bouncy castle tucked in a corner. We’ve gone all out with inflatables that are suitable for all ages. Whether the kids want to burn off some energy or you fancy a bit of a challenge yourself, the inflatables are going to be a major highlight of the day.
Face Painting & Glitter Bar
Want to transform into a tiger or a superhero? Or maybe you just want to add a bit of sparkle to your summer outfit? Our free face painting and glitter bar will be open and ready to add some colour to the day. It’s completely free for all guests, so make sure to get in line early to get your festival-ready look.
Live DJ & Music
What’s a summer social without a soundtrack? We’ll have a live DJ spinning tunes throughout the day. We’ve asked for a mix of summer classics and feel-good hits that will keep the energy high from 2 PM all the way through to 8 PM. If you have a specific request, don't be shy, come up and say hello!
Let’s Talk Food: A Treat for Your Tastebuds
We’ve curated a menu that celebrates the best of local street food and classic summer treats.
We didn't want a standard "stale sandwich" buffet. Instead, we wanted food that actually gets people excited.
Holy Smoke Street Food
We are incredibly excited to have Holy Smoke joining us. If you’ve never tried their food before, you are in for a serious treat. They specialise in incredible, high-quality street food that is guaranteed to hit the spot. From smokey flavours to hearty portions, it’s the perfect fuel for a busy afternoon of socialising and bouncing.
Free Ice Cream for Everyone!
It wouldn't be a summer social without a cold treat. We have arranged for an ice cream van to be on-site, and here is the best part: every client and their family gets one free 99 ice cream on us. There is nothing quite like that flake and vanilla combo to make it feel like summer has truly arrived.
The Dessert Stall & On-site Bar
For those with a sweet tooth that isn't satisfied by ice cream alone, we’ll have a dedicated dessert stall with plenty of goodies to choose from. And for the adults, the Biggleswade Rugby & Squash Club bar will be open and fully stocked. Whether you fancy a cold beer, a glass of wine, or a soft drink, the team at the bar will have you covered.

Why We’re Hosting This Event
Beyond the tax codes and payroll schedules, our business is built on relationships and community.
At Harrison’s Accountancy, we’ve always tried to do things a little differently. We don't want to be the "stuffy" accountants who you only hear from once a year when your tax return is due. We pride ourselves on being friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in the success of our clients.
The last few years have been a whirlwind for many business owners. Between changing regulations and the general hustle of running a company, it’s easy to forget to take a breath and celebrate how far you’ve come. This Summer Social is our way of saying "thank you."
Thank you for trusting us with your finances, thank you for being part of the Harrison’s family, and thank you for being such a vital part of the local Biggleswade community. We love seeing our clients succeed, but we love seeing them happy even more.
Getting There and Logistics
We want your journey to the event to be as stress-free as your last VAT return with us.
The Biggleswade Rugby & Squash Club is conveniently located on Langford Road. There is parking available on-site, but as we are expecting a good turnout, we recommend car-pooling or using local taxi services if you plan on enjoying a few drinks at the bar.
