Self-assessment – 2^nd payments on account – is yours due?

It’s that time of year again when you might need to start thinking about paying your 2^nd payment on account for the 2015/16 tax year.

The 2^nd payment on account is due for payment by 31 July 2016 and should be paid to HMRC for them to have cleared funds by this date.

HMRC will charge interest on any payments not received by 31 July and then add a 5% surcharge if the payment is 30 days late.
