03 Mar Payroll Changes from April 2020
Just to remind you about a few changes to payrolls from 1 April 2020: –
Minimum wage rates are increasing: –
25 & over – £8.72 (currently £8.21)
21-24 – £8.20 (currently £7.70)
18-20 – £6.45 (currently £6.15)
Under 18 – £4.55 (currently £4.35)
Apprentice – £4.15 (currently £3.90)
SSP (Statutory Sick Pay) rates are increasing to £94.25 per week (currently £92.05) SMP (Statutory Maternity Pay) is increasing to £151.20 per week (currently £148.68)
